Appeal for witnesses following sexual assault incident – Reading

We are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Reading.

Between 7.30pm and 8pm on Saturday 15 November, a woman in her thirties was sexually assaulted by an offender riding a bike on the footpath in Kings Road Garden, Kings Road.

The victim then chased the offender, who cycled towards oncoming traffic before going over the bridge on Watlington Road and then onto Kennet Street.

The offender is described as wearing a yellow/beige padded jacket and a black hoodie. No further details are known.

We understand this incident was more than three weeks ago, however, this was reported to us on 1 December and we believe any witnesses are likely to remember it.
